Welcome – I’m Charlotte

I’m a passionate CBT therapist and I run a neuro-affirming inclusive private practice both online and in person, for OCD and Phobias with a floral twist

Who I Work With

I work with people who are ready to change their relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings. I get it, I understand what it’s like to feel stuck in your own head. It’s exhausting, confusing, and sometimes it can feel like no one else quite gets what you're going through. I do.

I’ve spent thousands of hours in the therapy room helping people just like you trust themselves again, feel regulated and safe in their own minds, and ultimately worthy of love and deep connections. I have also lived with some of your experiences, and that means I really get how these things can take over your life, not just from a clinical point of view, but from the inside.

It also means I know how important it is to feel understood without having to explain every detail. I bring both professional tools and lived experience into sessions, which helps create a space that’s grounded, real, and genuinely supportive.

I'm not here to "fix" you, I'm here to walk alongside you with empathy, clarity, and the kind of insight that only comes from having been there too.

My specialisms include:

  • OCD – Using structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and evidence-based techniques, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help ease intrusive thought cycles, with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Inference CBT to look deeper at the doubt and meanings of your symptoms.
  • Phobias – Gradual, supportive exposure and CBT to help you take your life back from fear and allow work, social, and relationships to feel easy and fulfilling again.
  • Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours – Understanding these behaviours, separating them from sensory needs, and using habit reversal therapy where appropriate, without judgment.
  • Anxiety & Emotional Regulation – Practical strategies in line with Polyvagal Theory and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy to help you feel more in control; particularly helpful for people with ADHD.
  • Neurodivergent Affirming Support – Gentle therapy that helps to unpack and validate you and your experiences, without asking you to fit into anyone else's box. No diagnosis needed, you are your own expert.

A Unique Blend

As well as being a therapist, I’m also a florist, and that creativity feeds into the way I work. My therapy room is a calm, creative space. If it feels right for you, we can bring elements of floristry into the sessions. Sometimes it helps to work with your hands while talking through difficult things. It’s not for everyone, and that’s absolutely fine, but for some people, it makes a real difference.

Ways to Work Together

You can book sessions in a way that suits your routine and preferences. I offer:

  • One-to-one therapy either online, on video, telephone, or in my Greater Manchester studio
  • Block booking CBT therapy (ideal if you like consistency or are working on something specific)
  • Floral therapy sessions for those who want a creative, hands-on element to therapy
  • Walk-and-talk sessions in the local community (weather permitting!)

I welcome all backgrounds and stages of life. My practice is inclusive, collaborative, and based on mutual respect. You’re the expert in your life, and I’ll bring the tools to support you along the way.
